Election results: The election results felt like an important commentary on community support for our Strong Schools, Strong Communities strategic plan. Please stay involved with implementation and help make a great future for all our students.
Election eve phone calling and “midnight madness”! Volunteers from all over town made 10,000(!) phone calls tonight and then a passel of wonderful people (including a bunch of Central High School students) headed out to gently put DFL lit under windshield wipers everywhere we can. Hooray for great volunteers and thanks a million for the support of Regional Trades and Labor and AFSCME for the space, organization, and auto-dialers. What a great effort on all fronts!
Doorknock and rally featured Sen Klobuchar and Rep McCollum: As we kicked off our citywide doorknock on Nov 5, we were lucky to be energized by these two great leaders. I also appreciated the chance to visit about education priorities with Sen Klobuchar.
